So we had childcare lined up a few months before my due date. Well the day I delivered, they texted saying they hurt their shoulder and couldn’t take an infant anymore. Ok, no big deal. I had 3 months to look for childcare until I had to go back to work.

Well we looked and looked for another in-home daycare, but no one had openings for infants. My mother-in-law ended up offering to take 3 days a week and we found a center that had an opening for 2 days a week. Great, all set.

Well now I have three weeks until I go back to work and my mother-in-law injured her back and it will likely take a month to heal. So now we’re back to square one again.

Childcare is hard, man.
