My husband’s brother is down from out of state visiting. My husband hasn’t seen him in a few years. It’s only been a couple of days and I’m already fed up. I keep telling myself that it’s only for another week. He is super lazy, very rude, and doesn’t interact at all. We plan stuff to do and he says he doesn’t want to and sleeps on the couch or in the guest room all day, acts annoyed with my kids and doesn’t interact with them, doesn’t pick up after himself. This is how dinner goes...wakes up and sits at table and wait for my husband or myself to bring him his food, smacks food while chewing with mouth open the entire time, burps loudly (without even excusing himself) multiple times, when he’s done he ask my husband if he’s going to finish his food (while my husband is still eating it bc he wants my husband’s food too), doesn’t put his plate away, goes and sits back down on couch. Then is constantly telling my kids “go get this for me”, “go do this or that for me”. My kids had no idea who he was before he even came down. They are little so they do it. But I’m already at my wits end with him. Deep breaths are getting me through right now haha! Good thing my husband agrees too, we are both shocked at his behaviors.
