Lunar eclipse: Super Blood Wolf Moon

What are your culture’s beliefs on an eclipse happening when a woman is pregnant? What are the do’s and don’ts while the eclipse is happening?

My parents and in-laws are from Mexico (southwestern parts) and both of them have told me to wear red underwear and a safety pin and to stay indoors while it is happening as it’s a bad omen to look at the eclipse. My MIL told my husband I shouldn’t be outdoors.

Also, I’m always interested in learning myths and taboos from cultures different of my own. Guess that’s my anthro background.
