How are you preparing financially for baby?

Started saving well before TTC. Have a $ amount set, as well as deferrals to 401k, IRA, and when pregnant have a plan for the education savings account (for daycare then college) and an hsa for misc. baby expenses. 
I'm a planner.

We are working on saving $$ in general. We own a home, and were considering children when looking at houses. We bought on the smaller side, babies to be born here. Then when they get to school age hopefully keep this one and buy a bigger one

Ive been saving for a long time. Besides my 401k which I dont count anyway (thats retirement, not for a baby), i have enough saved for both of us not to work for ~2 years.
