Non stress test?

I’m 37 weeks and haven’t had the non stress test. Is this normal? Anyone else not done them yet?

That's a good thing! They're only done if you're high risk or they're worried something is wrong

In 4 pregnancies I've never had one. They only do that if they suspect something is wrong or you go in complaining of an issue

I had one because of preeclampsia and lack of movement. They only do it for high risk, if you're not getting them then that's great!!

Only if you are being monitored for something and lots of OBs order it for advanced maternal age also.

They won’t do it unless there is a reason to. I’ve only had them with my 2nd and now 4th child. One each and the babies passed and so I never had anymore.

Doing one tomorrow because I have preeclampsia and getting induced this week

Totally normal. Nobody's even mentioned doing one with me. Just over 37 weeks.

I got it done today! Only because I have gestational diabetes

Only get them if they think something is wrong or having contractions.
