Do u get a carseat at the hospital when u have a baby???

No you buy your own car seats. Look into travel strollers! They come with a stroller and a car seat that clicks right into the stroller.
Also make sure you research the proper way to install a car seat + how to strap a baby in a car seat as well.

No. You may get some small packs of diapers & wipes, mini bottles of soap & shampoo, a hat & some receiving blankets though but that’s about it ... they kind of expect you to be prepared for your child.

In Indiana there is only 1 hospital that actually gives away carseats. The others will sell you one for like $50, but that's about the cost for one from Walmart. Good Luck

You purchase your own. In my state (California) you install it in your car. And when they wheel you down to your car you put your baby in and the nurse watches u and then you go home 😁👍!

A lot of hospitals have a free safety car seat class that teaches you how to install it in your car properly (not as straight forward as you would think) and also how to put your baby safely in it. Most of the time they can provide one free to you if you need on. That’s how I got my first car seat for my first child. It also saved her life when I got into a roll over car accident when she was 2 months old. Wasn’t a scratch on her because she was in her car seat properly a scariest day of my life.
