There is my boyfriend who I want to get married to and start a family with in the long run.

There is an older crush from high school who just reappeared in my life. I know we’re just going to be friends in the long run. We have been texting a lot. How do I be faithful and respectful to my boyfriend?

I talked to both my boyfriend and my old crush. I’m not going to stop texting him unless my boyfriend becomes uncomfortable with it. My boyfriend just worries that something extreme might happen but I assure him that would never happen because I have too much respect for him. But I realized texting my old crush as friends is okay because I don’t know what’s he’s going through and maybe he just needs a friend. I told my old crush that I want to marry my current boyfriend eventually. This has made the situation a lot better clarifying our friendship of what’s okay and what’s not.
