If you want this taken down comment so and I will, but it’s a genuine question.

So I have German ancestry, I have an obviously German last name as well. When people hear my last name their first instinct is to ask either:

A) Are you a nazi?

B) Are you related to a nazi?

C) Do you hate Jewish people? Or any other Nazi, WWII, and Holocaust question that their mind can come up with.

This is from my personal experience, and I consider it offensive to be associated with something as horrible as the Holocaust because of my last name.

But the question is, would it be considered Racist?

(If this offends anyone that has dealt with racism in their life, I’m really really sorry)
