What old wives tales/superstitions do you believe in?

Idk if this is a superstition or what, but I didn’t buy anything for my son until I was 30 weeks pregnant because I truly believed that if I bought things for him before that something bad would happen to him. Just something I weirdly believed 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m not superstitious. I’m spiritual, but don’t believe in things people made up a long time ago based on their fear.

I’m hoping the heartburn in pregnancy means baby will have hair is true!

That isn’t so much superstitious than precautionary.  Superstitious would be, you won’t buy baby products on even numbered days because you’ll jinx your child into have a fat nose, or something along that line.
