Does anyone know what is statistically “normal” for first births?

Statistically ftm (without serious medical issues) goes past by about a week. That just means that more than 51% go over. That being said theres the other 49% that show up whenever they please.

Statistically more likely to be overdue, however there are plenty that are not.

I’ve heard mixed things.  Stats I found and what I heard from people I know said majority overdue and only about 5% or less actually delivering on due date.  But the prenatal classes I went to at the hospital in Canada said majority of moms are delivering earlier now before due date.  🤷‍♀️

my first was 5 days early. my second 1 day early, third baby was a week late and I was induced. my four child was 3 days late.. I really hope this baby doesn't come late -_-

All depends. I was induced with my first 10 days past his due date. Most mums I know go over 40 weeks with there first.

When the baby is ready. Usually around 41+ weeks. Keep in mind, a “due date” is just a “guess date.”

It has nothing to do with first or fifth. Every baby, every woman, every pregnancy is different. 
I had my first 3 weeks early. 
My friend had her first 2 days early but her second a week late. 
It differs so much. 
Same with labor. 
I was only in labor for 5.5 hours and pushed for less than 10 minutes with my first. My friend pushed for 4 hours with her first.
