97th percentile ?!?!

I'm 26 weeks and baby is measuring 97th percentile. Anyone else have this? I read there could be risks when the baby is born. Can I get the percentile down?!?

My baby was measuring 94th% at 26 weeks. Turns out I have gestational diabetes. After changing my diet he was  measuring 70th% at 36 weeks.
Have you done your glucose test yet?

You likely have GD. I do, but only certain measurements are 95+%

They likely will monitor it, and if the percentile stays consistent, they might move up your due date to avoid issues during delivery.

Have you been tested for GD yet? If you’re negative, they will probably still act as if you have GD and induce you a week early if baby still measures that big by the time you deliver. My baby girl was in the 86th percentile with her length when I was 18 weeks but I’m pretty sure now she’s evened out. Just slightly big for her gestation.
