Push present ??

I’ve been hearing all about push presents, but are they really a thing ?
Are you expecting something from your husband/boyfriend/partner ??

The baby is our present 🤷🏼‍♀️ I didn’t get married or pregnant so that I can get presents. Just my opinion lol

I made a “joke” about it a few years ago when I had my son and my hubs was clueless about a push present. It’s totally OK. But I do know someone who got a damn Louis Vuitton purse. 😭 
I am having twins this time around... 🙃

Heard of it but aint something we do here in canada !!! But ... When I pushed my second little one , all the vains in my face exploded so I decided to buy me a pushing gift on amazon (because I fucking deserved it😂) while hubby was at home with our little 1 year old !!

My husband got me a new blanket and my own no slip socks. I had a C section but he wanted me to be comfortable since he knew I'd be in pain. It's not an expectation but it's a sweet gesture <3

Heard of it think its the dumbest thing in the world. We choose to have the baby so we shouldnt think we deserve a present for chosibg to gi e birth to a child we chose to have. Its a time of bonding not a time for your partner to try to compensate for us giving birth. No gift in my eyes is equal and the gift you get is a live baby if everything works out

I don’t see any shame in it. My husband and I work really hard, middle class, blue collar family, and he got me a pandora bracelet with a bunch of charms on it. Totally surprised me.

I think a push present is a fabulous idea!! So you would get something you could pass down if it’s a bracelet or necklace if you have a girl you would pass it down as she would when her baby  has a baby. And if it’s a little boy you could do the same and he could give to his wife to pass down.
