Anyone else freaking out about labor?

I’m so afraid of it, I literally have nightmares. I’m trying to educate myself and try and calm myself with the idea, but I just end up getting more freaked out. I don’t know how I’ll manage when it finally happens. I feel like bursting into tears just thinking about it now

I was just like you with my first baby I freaked myself out for no reason!!!! My birth went super smooth. Water broke 11 hours of labor. Pushed for 1 hour. Got the epidural which was not that painful and smooth sailing! Great birth!!! With my second baby I had to have an emergency C-Section which sucked and was scary but me and baby were fine and we got through it!! You'll be ok!!! Hang in there!!!

I was scared shitless when I was going to have my son. People make it seem a lot worse than it really is. As long as you concentrate on breathing through each contraction & remembering you're doing it all for a reason you'll be ok. Some births are different so I can't guarantee it'll go as smoothly as mine but try to be positive.

I was for a while. But now I’m just ready for her to come out and I don’t care how bad it hurts 😩 I’ve been pregnant forever

Im feeling pretty nervous, this is my first. I do my best to stay busy while I'm on leave during the day but at night I get the tremors from the anxiety. Im told it's normal but that when it's happening you find this strength you didn't realize was there and at that point you're focused on getting that little baby here. Im counting on that lol.

This is so me lately!!! Today I went in cause I've been feeling tightening and pressure.. Since I'm only 31+2 And my anxiety was so bad.. I was like shit I imagine how am I gonna be when I'm in actual labor😭😭😭

This is my second child and if it’s any consolation, I’m excited for birth.  I was induced the first time, no epidural or pain meds.  Yes, it hurt a lot.  No lie.  It’s kinda scary too.   But I’m more excited to meet the baby.
I know everyone has a different experience but maybe this’ll make you feel a bit better about it.
