Sippy cups?
I feel like I’ve tried every sippy cup out there and my daughter doesn’t seem to understand how to drink out of any of them properly.
She’s 19 months old and has been bottle fed since birth but we’ve been trying sippy cups since about 6-7 months.
The green spouts glass ones she has chewed the middle off so the water just pours out and that’s not preferable but okay for water but obviously for milk I can’t have that getting spilled everywhere.
She pretty much chews on every sippy cup we’ve had rather than sucking, so with the softer ones she will get liquid out but ruin them and I’m also worried about her swallowing the plastic and with the hard ones she just chews so she’s not getting anything out and will pass it back to me, confused.
We have the pura insulated one and the way she drinks out of it, the air gets trapped and it’s makes this squealing noise and she will get freaked out and refuse to drink out of it.
She will drink water out of a straw cup but not milk but we also have issues with her chewing the straws off. Also, she tips them up so again, don’t want milk getting all over the place.
Anyone have any suggestions on what to do or cups that might work for a chewer? She just seems like she literally doesn’t understand how to drink out of them and it’s sooooo frustrating because she’s one and a half. Help.
