Everyday or Every other day in fertile window? Is sperm count/quality not as good or is that a myth?

I’ve read that you should only bd every other day in your fertile window, because it gives time for the mans sperm count/quality to return. But, I just read on Ovia that that isn’t true??

One of the OBs I work with swears by having sex every day during your fertile week. So on month 4 of ttc, we bd every day except for 2 during the fertile week (1 day at the beginning and 1 at the end) and sure enough got our bfp

I’ve had multiple doctors tell me every other day leading up to fertile week, and then every day during fertile week up until ovulation.

I looked this up too bc my hubby is 52 and i I assume his sperm may not be what that of a 20-30 something’s might be. From what I gathered, if his sperm are good and healthy, everyday is fine (especially in those days around ovulation) it isn’t necessary but it will def increase the odds!! Good luck!
