So in summary, my gay best friend needs a place to stay on Thursday night every week until like February 15th and I offered him to be able to stay here at least a couple of times because I don’t want him out on the streets or staying with his abusive step mom ( long story (also, I’m a 18 y/o straight female btw and my friend is definitely gay 100%) and my dad freaks out and is like I can’t have another male staying in my home and living here. He’s not living here hardly at all. He’d be somewhere else like 90% of the time and he’d just sleep here one night a week so he can have a place to be safe and clean and eat at. Can someone explain wtf my dad actually means by this? He has yet to meet my friend because of time constraints but he has been my friend for 2 1/2 years now and I hang out with him all the time. My mom has met him and doesnt mind if he stays but my dad is being all weird.
