Best Biodegradable Diapers?

Question

I want to implement cloth diapers when my baby comes but my husband doesn't like the idea. We compromised by agreeing to a compostable/biodegradable alternative since I refuse to put hundreds of plastic diapers into the environment simply out of convenience. Help me pick what will work best!

i would do more research into the biodegradable diapers.. unfortunately they really only biodegrade in “ideal” conditions aka major compost areas, and if thrown away like normal will still sit in a landfill... cloth really are your best option!

What about cloth shells with disposable inserts? All in twos I believe they're called. What's his argument against cloth? they really are a lot easier than most people think! I've also been seeing ads for a brand called Dyper that's biodegradable and natural.

Brandless is an online marketplace that just launched diapers. I don’t know if they are 100% biodegradable, but they are made from sustainable plant based materials so I don’t see why they wouldn’t be. They are pretty affordable too, $9 for 50 diapers in size 1. They also sell plant based wipes, and offer subscriptions for diapers.

I did a lot of research on these diapers and Bambo seems to be the most absorbent and most comfortable according to reviews. I am due in about a week and I have some Bambo diapers I bought on Amazon. Just waiting to try them out. I want to go with Andy Pandy and maybe try Mama Bear, but I don't know yet. Mama Bear is an Amazon brand so I'm definitely skeptical.
