Did your brestfed baby sleep long?

My first baby was formula and slept 12 hours I'm due another on in may and considering breast but he'll no if breast babies don't sleep as long! I didn't breast feed my first as he was early and in special care I didn't wanna pump and he needed formula to fatten up.

That is false information. Breastfed babies and sleep longer or not sleep much at all same as formula fed. Plus newborns are not supposed to sleep in long stretches. My breastfed baby slept 7 hours at 7 weeks old a few times and slept the same when I had to formula feed him. Don't let false information steer you away! Good luck! :)

Sleeping is a developmental thing, it has nothing to do with a baby being fed formula or breast milk. Some babies sleep through the night sooner, just like some babies walk or talk sooner. Others take a bit longer, regardless of how they are fed.

It really doesn't matter. I was formula fed and was up every 2 hours until I was one. My baby is breastfed and will sleep 6 hours at a time and my friends baby sleeps all the way through also breastfed. The whole "formula fed babies sleep more" saying is false.

Our daughter started to sleep 4-5 hour stretches around two months old, only waking once for a feeding. By 3.5 months, she was sleeping 7-8 hours, not waking at all during the night.👍🏾

My daughter didnt start sleeping through the night until 15 months or so. She had regular naps and slept well through them. At night she would  sleep 12 hours but would wake 1 or 2 times.
