Ever since my boyfriend got back from his deployment last March, things have been different. He used to be this incredibly kind, empathetic person who I could talk to about anything and genuinely was my best friend. But since he got back, he’s just kind of a jerk. Now, I know what you are thinking, he was deployed, he experienced stuff, etc, which I completely understand. But his views on life have completely changed. He’s so political and close minded. We aren’t as close or loving as we once were. All he cares about is coming home, drinking a beer, and playing with the dogs. He hardly looks or speaks to me and when it comes time for intimacy, I always have to initiate it. I had a miscarriage in July and he just acted indifferent about it. And I’m 9 weeks pregnant now and he isn’t excited or anything. He just indifferent. He is gone a lot for the military but I feel more alone when he’s home than when I’m home alone. I don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve tried talking to him about it and he will either just blow me off or tell me what I want to hear at the time and then things never change. It has me really questioning if I want to spend my life with him. Advice?
