Has anyone filed for bankruptcy while pregnant?

Me and my husband are filing next week and just wondering if anyone else has done it. 
My husband had cancer and his medical bills reach into the early $30k and I had 3 rounds of ivf (unsuccessful) and I owe in taxes. So my theory was to file so we can have a fresh start.           
Any thoughts or advice?

Where are you located?
I have not filed, but I have heard it can be quite a process. You should really make sure you speak to an expert on what risk/exposure you may have. 
I’m sure you’ve already looked into lots of this, but filing doesn’t just give you a clean slate - there are a significant amount of downsides. 
For example, do you own your house, or a vehicle? Any money in retirement savings?Those can all be taken away. It will kill your credit score for many years (I believe 7 or 8 spending on where you live). This will make it exceptionally hard for you to get any type of loan, credit card, or even challenging for landlords to accept you as a tenant. 
I also believe this would come up in an employer background check (if you chose to switch companies). There are many roles where financial security would be critical due to being susceptible to bribery, theft, etc. 
I’m not sure how maternity leave works for your country/company, but I imagine there could also be some challenges in securing payment if it’s government funded. This is just a guess, but a call out for sure. 
I’m sure there are many other “cons” to this - they don’t want it to be easy to walk away from your debt. Think speaking to an expert would be very valuable for you here.

Just make sure you look into everything really thoroughly first. I don’t know much about it, but I think it can impact the property you are allowed to own, and obviously negatively impacts your credit score. However, having a lot of delinquent debt can also hurt your credit score, obviously. I think every situation is different based on your means. Pregnancy is probably not the most ideal time to file, but I am not sure there is an ideal time.

Talk to a GOOD accountant or financial advisor.  Don’t take advice from the internet, there are way too many variables and a bad decision here could seriously impact your life.

Make sure it covers medical Bills I was told they don't.  Talk to a lawyer if you haven't already. Only use it as a last resort. When I did it I all I had was credit card debt and a car that I couldn't afford anymore. It lasts for 10 years on your credit, but it is possible to build your credit back up. I also wasnt married at the time. Also I'm pretty sure bankruptcy doesnt get rid of any taxes you owe. So it may not be your best option
