What are your experiences with nexplanon?

My doctor doesn’t think my iud is helping with my periods and recommends nexplanon.
How do y’all like it???

I had one for three years or whatever and loved it. Didn't even know it was there. Putting it in and taking it out was a breeze and I have one teeny tiny little scar where it was. But every lady is different some people hated theirs but from my experience it was wonderful!!

I had mine for over three years (new research shows it is effective for up to 5) and I loved it. I didn’t have a period at all! Now that we are TTC, I’m trying to regulate my periods and ovulation, but I think being on birth control that long has made things harder. If you don’t plan on having kids anytime soon, I say go for it! I also didn’t have any pain after it was put in and I was fine the whole 3 1/2 years.

I hated mine. Bled 75% of the 8 months I had it in. And when I went to have it removed, the doctor couldn't find it so removal took way longer than it should have.
A good friend of mine had it and put on a LOT of weight. Had it removed and the weight basically fell off.
Everyone is different. Some people love it. Myself nor anyone I personally know who had it did not get lucky.

It was coo. I didn’t have a period after the first 6 months of spotting here and there (randomly) I had to keep liners on which sucked! It really did kill my seed drive and headaches. I had it for three years
