You will know when the real contraction hit lol like they told me at the birthing center .. come back to us when you cant talk or move during a contraction. Otherwise you will probably go in to early and just have to wait around anyways. It's better and more comfortable to labour at home

37 weeks is early term so not premature. You'll know when it's the real deal. You don't need to go in until they are consistent and 5 minutes apart. It will feel like you are having really bad poo cramps

I think the rule after 37 weeks is to go in once your contractions last one minute and are five minutes apart for an hour
But I could be wrong

I’m 37+4 today too and am in early latent labor. I had 2 hours worth of painful contractions like this last night but then they stopped completely. I’m already 4cm & 60% effaced though so I might go in to get checked out soon. Better safe than sorry if it’s been over an hour for you
