Dates are confusing me?

I thought I was 8w4d but my sonographer said I look like 7 weeks (+/-). She said she would let them set my EDD at my 12 week scan. How come I’m so off? I used opk’s as well as Glow and it all matched up.

We saw a heartbeat and this was all done abdominally. Is her dating correct? Am I not eating enough (my appetite is none existent)?

I don’t want to harm the baby but it’s stressing me out!

Are you sure when you ovulated? Did you use ovulation tests?

The first sonogram is usually a daynor 5 off. See what they'll say at the next one.

You’ll probably jump forward a day or 2 at your next scan :)

It’s not that far off especially if they only did abdominal u/s. Transvaginal u/s gets a better picture with more accurate measurements

Everyone’s Baby is different just like we are... that’s why everyone’s baby weighs different when they are born. I wouldn’t worry unless it’s weeks behind or ahead. They will still go off your numbers not the ultrasound.

That's not far off. Normal for last period date and measurements to be within a week of eachother. Nobody knows for certain when implantion occurs.
