Anyone with an inverted nipple have trouble with milk supply?

Not sure if it’s a weird question 
I had inverted nipples and got them pierced about 2 years ago and have never taken them out. Will having an inverted nipple cause trouble latching? Or problems with my milk supply? Worrying for nothing? 😖it was mentioned to me and it never crossed my mind?

I have to use a nipple shield on the left side but no trouble with supply

We used nipple shields for the first 14w until my LOs jaw was strong enough to pull it out on his own.
