High blood pressure?

My bp today was 137/93 and they want me to come back in on Monday to recheck. I had my 1 yr old who likes to randomly scream high pitch. My question is if they try to put me on bp meds this pregnancy it would only be for the duration of the pregnancy right? I wouldn’t be stuck on those freakin things forever right?

Hopefully you were just stressed with your child... i would stick to low salt, healthy diet maybe that will help too. Any way you can do like yoga or exercise too? And not bring your baby to your next visit? It honestly depends on how your BP is after you have the baby. Hope everything turns out well for you 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

My BP went up at the end of my last pregnancy. It stayed up until a couple of months ago. For me, the cold weather triggers it now. I’m not on any meds right now, but I was for about 2 years. Try to do some cardio if your doc approves, drink a lot of water (I drink 16 cups/day) and try not to add salt to your food. Oh and for me, when it goes up I get really tired and brain-fog. If I lay down for at least 30 minutes it usually goes down.
