So I’m 39 weeks 4 days today, due Monday 01/28. This is my first pregnancy, I had my doctors appointment this morning to check for dilation and also he was going to preform a membrane sweep. After checking he said he couldn’t even do the sweep because I’m only a finger tip dilated and scheduled to re check me Monday morning. Doctor said that if I haven’t gone into labor on my own by my appointment Monday morning we could schedule induction for Monday evening..... I don’t know what the best option for me is as he mentioned that with inductions csection rate is higher also I am a smaller framed women.... 97lbs pre pregnancy now 155 lbs. I would prefer to avoid csection if at all possible but I’m worried that staying pregnant past 40 weeks could lead to complications. I’m sure this is all just me thinking and reading into it too much and waiting it out sounds like the better thing in my eyes but I’m just so unsure..... thoughts or opinions plz????????
