What would you do?!

Question

Do you prefer finding out the sex of the baby right when you can or being surprised at birth? 
We found out for my daughter (because my husband couldn’t wait) but I kinda want this one to be a surprise!

I thought about not finding out, but I feel like calling the by it’s name helps me bond with it a lot more during pregnancy. Just a personal preference though. I don’t like surprises anyway. Makes me anxious.

We didn’t find out with our first and I think it almost killed my husband. 😂 
I let him make the choice, he regretted his choice but stubbornly stuck to it. The next two we definitely found out.

We’ve done both, and we much prefer knowing during pregnancy. I didn’t bond with the one we waited to find out. I didn’t enjoy that pregnancy nearly as much either.

I get this and don’t. You have so many other surprises when they’re born, why do you want their sex to also be a surprise? Just curious! 🙃

We waited to find out until birth with our first and went ahead and found out at 14 weeks with this baby. So I've done both. There are pros and cons to each. Finding out gives you the opportunity to prepare but waiting makes L&D so much more special.
