Really dark pregnancy test early on?

I’m only 5 weeks 2 days but for the past week at least, my tests have been sooo dark- darker than the control line!! Is that normal? Anyone else’s tests super dark this early on?
I’ve tested positive since 8DPO but that was quite faint, but they’ve been this dark now since my missed period! 😅
(Yeah I know I don’t need to keep testing but a- defo addicted to peeing on a stick and b- it’s just a bit of reassurance until my scan!)

Mine at 9, 11 and 13 dpo. So not even 4 weeks. Very normal. At 4 weeks 2 days my hcg was 1217 which is high for that point.

Some women get tests that look like that as early as 4 weeks. Hcg levels duplicate differently for everyone.

Yup. You probably had a lot of hormones concentrated in your pee

Normal just means your hcg is rising bloody well healthy baby

Thanks for the reassurance guys 😊 in the UK we don’t get our HCG levels checked by bloods usually, so it’s reassuring to know!
