Am I the only one who doesn't like it when people call my baby a little bean?

I don't know. I didn't realize I didn't like it until my sister called my baby a little jelly bean. I know people see it as cute or whatever, but I just really didn't like it for some reason. I didn't say anything to her because I know its petty and all but I was just wondering. Am I the only one?

Could be worse, my cousin’s wife called my baby a parasite! I took offense but everyone said I was over reacting! Her and my cousin are both rude and obnoxious anyway! I didn‘ make a big fuss but I did write congrats on the parasite on her baby shower card!

Yeah I really dislike bean, nugget, bubs, bubba, and peanut. The baby only looks like a bean on an abdominal ultrasound before week 9! I think the word baby is very cute already, don’t know why people avoid it.

Bean is a little weird. I just got my BFP today and my best friend has already nicknamed my baby Stage 5 Clinger! I laughed so hard and now that’s what we are calling him/her! 😂😂😂😂

My coworker calls my baby jellybean but I let her because she’s been waiting for me to have a baby for so long, and I can tell she’s just really happy so I figured I’d just let her have that...I know it’s weird she’s my coworker but she’s like a big sister I never had too!  My husband calls my baby princess, my daughter calls the baby Lizzy and I just call her by her actual name🤷🏼‍♀️

Yeah I find it irritating when I see people calling any embryo/fetus a bean. Whether it’s mine or not. I don’t have any real reason for why it annoys me, just does 🤷‍♀️

There’s lots of names I don’t like. They’re usually ones other people come up with. If my husband and I come up with it, it’s fine 🤣🤣🤣
