Should I go to work on my day off?

My job left me a voicemail to ask if i can come into work ( it’s optional) should I enjoy my day off or go make some extra money ?

Up to you. Do you need the extra money? Are you wanting to stay with the company long term? If so, I would do it shows you are a good team member. 
If it’s a place you work but don’t want to make a career then no - enjoy your time off.

I always go for it. I only work 3 days a week right now (I’ll be picking up an extra day in March) but it’s a very small business. It’s just me & the owner running the place.
