I think I have finally found my donor, and am working on sorting out the legal side of things before trying. My question is: which state laws apply? The state of residence (donor or recipient), the state of conception, or the state of birth? I live on one state, but will likely be moving during this process. He bounces between two other states. We might meet in the middle. I will be consulting a lawyer, but am not sure if I should pay to work with one for the state I may be living in at conception, or if I should work with one for the anticipated state of birth?

Also, did anybody using a known donor do genetic testing or CMV testing? How?
