How close/far apart are your children?

How close/far apart are your children in age?  What do you recommend/what worked for you?

My sister is two years younger and my brother is 16 years younger than me! Im so close with my sister as she is a similar age but my little brother is the best thing ever so im glad im old enough to watch him grow etc!

I left a 5yr age gap between my two boys, it worked for me as I wanted to spend one on one time with my oldest, till he started school then my youngest son was born. I got to spend most of my day just him while oldest son was at school.. now we just had our 3rd our daughter and my youngest son is now in nursery (nearly 4yr age gap) between them to, and again I get to spend time with her when both the boys are at school and nursery..😊 I love the age gaps it’s works for me, I don’t think I could managed so well if I had one after the other 3 kids are a lot of work 😂

My daughter was 3yrs old when my son came along. She was potty trained and sleeping through the night. She regressed in everything!!! She started having multiple potty accidents a day. She started baby talking again. She would get up in the middle of the night just to say hello. She needed me as soon as the baby needed to nurse. It was really rough for the first 6wks. But now she will spontaneously say “ I love having a little brother!” So, it was worth it!!! I may have created a larger age gap had I known what all she was going to go through. Not sure if it would have helped or not.

Ours are 4 years and 3 months apart. We’ll start trying for another in about 2.5 years, when I get my nexplanon removed.

My daughter will be 2 years and 4 months when her little brother arrives. Shes independent enough to not need me all the time so thats a plus lol.

My son and daughter almost 2 years apart (3 weeks separate them) those first few daya were hard...my son wanted nothing to do with his sister and whenever she cried he cries. Last year when they were 6.5 years and 4.5 years we had boy girl twins...this age gap seems to work as they can help with the little ones and dont need as much assistance from me.
