We lost our son at 16 weeks gestation this past December. Not long before we lost him, we learned he had trisomy 21 or Down syndrome. Because of how far along I was I was suggested to have a D&E and it’s not recommend to look after the surgery.

With most miscarriages you can’t know what your baby looks like, but with Down syndrome you can assume certain features.

I was googling pictures of Down syndrome babies today bawling because I keep thinking, does he look like that?

Am I alone in feeling like this?
