Oh my God! I'm so sorry. That is the saddest thing I've ever read and really puts it into perspective for me. No! It doesn't make you a bad mother. I also have a 2 year old and couldn't imagine going through something like your going through with her. I definitely feel why you would feel terrible. Your missing out on quality bonding time. Your story is making me sob and I dont even know any of it from this post.

My 2nd was in the NICU for 10day and I also had a 2 year old at home. It broke my heart. It took us 5 years to try for number 3 because it was such a rough experience.  The nurses in the hospital would tell me my 2 year old needed me more and not to feel guilty going home to him.  The baby would be cared for. I would spend a few hours a day at the hospital then go home to my oldest. It was so hard. Hang in there momma. I hope you are all together very soon. Dont be afraid to ask for help.
