Do you wash your baby clothes in baby detergent or regular detergent?

I was using baby detergent because it was bought for me at the baby shower. But I don't see any point in buying him special detergent when he is laying all over my stuff I've washed all the time. So I have started washing his clothes in our detergent and he hasn't had a issue

We use regular free and clear type.

I did the same as you with our son.  Only used dreft because I was gifted it. I then switched to ours. Which we already used free & clear because my husband has eczema and I have sensitive skin.  Didn't even bother with dreft for our daughter.

I just uSe a free type detergent for everything in the house. Husband has sensitive skin so I’ve used it for years

Switched us all to organic so we wash everything together now

I use Gain and snuggle softener.  I started with just the detergent and next time I added the softener. And he didn't have an issue. I just hate speeding unnecessary money!
