When to take belly button rings out?

I am only 7 weeks pregnant, but my belly rings started itching, even though my belly isn’t growing yet? Is this normal? I thought it wasn’t supposed to start getting irritated until you got a bump and your belly started stretching?

I would just take it out now. My site was in worst form- dry, red, flakey-  right before I started stretching, and at the end of pregnancy. If you want to keep it, better safe than sorry. Personally I hope mine pops at this point, but it's looking rough these days anyway

I took mine out just last week at 21weeks. I have had mine for 12 years so I very highly doubt it will close. It just wasn’t comfortable under maternity pants anymore

I never took mine out. I bought  a maternity one. I did take it out for the 3 days i was in the hospital with my first. Currently still have it in during this pregnancy and im almost 28 weeks. You can take it out or buy  a different one.
