Yolk sac but no pole dating 6 weeks - anyone go on to have a viable pregnancy?

If you had BOTH a good gestational and good yolk sac at 6 weeks but no fetal pole, did you go on to have a viable pregnancy? Is not seeing a pole at 6 weeks if you have a good yolk sac normal?

That’s normal. It’s why they don’t usually do ultrasounds before 7-8 wks.

You won’t see the start of a baby then. I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks and 2 days. I saw a gestational sac and a yolk. It’s more to confirm pregnancy and that it’s in the right place. Around 7 weeks i saw a heartbeat and baby x

My doctor scheduled my first ultrasound for 6 weeks this Wednesday.... I had an ectopic in September, so she wants to make sure this pregnancy is where it should be. She said we may not even see a yolk sac, but not to worry if we don’t. So I wouldn’t worry too much!
