I'm 37 + 2 and the other night I had to go to the hospital because I was experiencing some mild contractions and I'm a first-time mom so I was concerned I was going into labor. 2 days ago my cervix was closed and the nurse told me that it's very common to experience contractions at 37 weeks. That night that I was in the hospital she checked my cervix which triggered a bunch of contractions so I have an idea of what they feel like now but today I've been experiencing a sharp pain in my butthole that shoots up my back and around to my lower abdomen. Does that sound like contractions or is that just sound like I'm backed up? I passed a bowel movement today so I don't think I'm constipated. Does it sound like maybe she's just sitting on a nerve? I primarily feel it when I push like I'm trying to go to the bathroom or when I bend over
