Pregnant???

So I am on the pill, it’s a low dose. I haven’t been very consistent this month I’m taking it I have had unprotected sex quite a few times and he didn’t pull out. My boobs are somewhat sore and I have been having a sore back. I started my period or thought so yesterday, but it stopped today so it lasted only a day. It wasn’t bright red or heavy just light and like a brownish red. Which isn’t normal for my period. I just want to know before I take a test because I don’t want the false hope if it isn’t a positive.
