Life After Nexplanon?

I’ve had this thing in my arm almost three years now! I’ve had literally EVERY single kind of birth control.. and I’m just f*ckn over it (condoms it is) 🤷🏾‍♀️ ..... Can anyone tell me their experiences after the nexplanon was removed? 
Did it hurt? Did your periods go back to “normal”? Cramps? (I never had those until nexplanon) 🙄spotting? Hormones??

My periods were normal afterwards and my body felt better and normal too. I felt like shit during my 3 years with nexplanon. Worst experience of my life and I would not recommend it to anyone.

After I removed nexplanon, I immediately got on the depo shot but needless to say it cleared up my period. I was on my period for basically all of 2018, so I’m glad its finally over. I’d rather have irregular cycles than month long periods. The removal itself actually hurt despite the numbing solution they injected in me. There’s like almost no fat in my arm, but the doctor still struggled a bit to pull it out.

I got mine out a few weeks ago. Same as going in, all I felt was the numbing shot. Afterwards it felt like a bad cat scratch for like a week. I had a problem with it making my arm numb and feeling like someone was poking me with a pen... That went away like a little over a week later. I got my first period 5 days after removal, it lasted 3 days. Hoping it regulates pretty quickly lol. I still had a year left of use but it was horrible on me! My emotions have gotten back in sync, small cramping around (what I assume was) ovulation time but I never really had cramping issues. When I asked the doctor she told me everything should go back to how it was before and didn't mention anything to look for. Between timing and pulling out and our infertility issues, we are hoping that'll be enough lol I can not do BC anymore 😣

Took my periods a while to come back to normal, but they did eventually! Everyone’s body is different so while some people may go back to normal straight after, others could take months to get there cycles regular again
