FTM does anyone know?

My work recently asked about my OB  appointments. They want to know why im having appointments every 2 weeks. And I told them sorry it's my first pregnancy idk whats normal & what's not. Im wondering now because my friends told me they only visited once a month. Not sure what's going on I have an anatomy scan tomorrow & a visit with my ob in 2 weeks
Im only 20 weeks

I would ask your OB why you have so many appointments if it's a normal, healthy pregnancy. I don't think I started going every 2 weeks until I was like 7 months.

Not sure. This is my second and with both I thought it was the norm to go once a month until 32 weeks when it switched to every 2 weeks. Then at 36 weeks it switches to every week.

I always went 2 weeks but I was high risk and having lots of ultrasound too.

Do you have your ultrasounds at your OBGYN office or somewhere else? I go to a high risk office for my ultrasounds monthly and i have obgyn visits monthly, they just fall 2 weeks apart because theyre scheduled separately.

I’m going every 2-3 weeks instead of 4 weeks because I’m high risk & I have marginal previa. I did have partial. One of my initial lab tests came up positive for a blood clotting problem. (Meaning my blood doesn’t clot properly)

I went every four weeks for both pregnancies. Then i started going every week at 35 weeks. Every two weeks is a lot.
