Do most peoples water break at 40 weeks?

I’m 36 ish almost 37 not sure when my water is gonna break.

My doctor broke my water when I was dilated to a 7 in the hospital. I was 41+1. It doesn’t just break when you reach a certain point.

First was 39/4, second was 37/1 (but that was twins).

My water broke on its own at 37+4.  Contractions started an hour later.  I had lost 1/2 my mucus plug earlier in the day and the other half prob within a 1/2 hour before my water breaking.

It's a really low percentage of your water actually breaking. Something like only 30% of women.
