I’ll be 12 weeks at the beginning of March and I’m wondering how to tell my boss. She is not going to be happy and I’m a little worried she will flip out (not at me but just about it). She relies so heavily on me as her assistant and can’t survive without me even when I have two days off! She is going away for a month in the middle of March and I don’t know if I should tell her before she goes, tell her via phone while she’s on leave or wait until she is back in April. I don’t even know how to break it to her. Please help with some advice, she is the only person I’m really nervous about telling.
