Extra Period
Okay so I had my yearly exam on January 4th, all normal and clear and I was on my period from the 8th - 13th. On the 13th I started my new pack of pills (that I’ve been on for a couple years) and I also started working out a lot (after a few months of being lazy). That whole week went well, I didn’t work out Saturday, then Sunday the 20th slight spotting. By Thursday it progressed to full bleeding. And it’s still lingering now. It’s mainly brought on by strenuous activities, running, working out, lifting heavy, other than that it’s hardly there. I’m supposed to be on my actual period (according to my pills) next week, I usually start on tuesdays. My doc said to just wait it out and see, maybe my body’s just adjusting to the working out. My friends think due to suddenly working out so much and my very high stress level right now (personal matters) and last week being ovulation week, it all took its toll on my body, hence the bleeding.
Anyone else experience this or have advice? I know I just need to let it run its course and stop worrying but it’s so hard =( I always think the worst.
