Parent Problems
I’m a trans boy and I recently came out to my parents as such (they already know that I’m pansexual) and my mom just doesn’t believe me. I described what gender dysphoria feels like and she said this: “you’ve been struggling with anxiety and depression as well as body dysmorphia for a long time, and I think that you’re just trying to find a reason you feel like this.”
By the way, I don’t have body dysmorphia. I just don’t. I can see my body as it is and I know that what I’m seeing is what others are seeing.
I have gender dysphoria, not body dysmorphia.
I know this has nothing to do with menstruation or anything but I just needed to vent because this has just been making me feel awful lately.
