My wee man made his appearance on Saturday 12/01/2019 8lb 7oz. Bit of a long story. I woke up on the Friday morning having a few irregular contractions. By 9:30 pm they were coming every 4 minutes or so. I called the hospital and headed in to be checked. We got there got and got hooked up to the monitors and contractors stopped. They told me to go home and come back if they started again(this was around 11:30pm). They did not check if I was dilated. I came home and tried to lie down to get some rest but was too uncomfortable so decided a bath might help. Come 2 o’clock and still no contractions but a constant pressure and pain my fiancé had enough and rang the hospital to say we were coming in. We arrived at the hospital and were taken straight to a private room to be checked. Straight away she shouted for help saying I was ready to push to get me down to delivery now!!! 3-4 pushes later By 3:42am I had my little boy in my arms. No pain relief and more surprisingly no stitches 😁. We got home later that day and he is doing fantastic. His big brother(2) absolutely adores him.
