Pregnancy after ectopic ??

Has anyone had a successful pregnancy after an ectopic pregnancy, and how long did it take to conceive ??? I had an ectopic in March 2017 and my left tube was removed, now my husband and I are trying for baby #2. I got pregnant the first time w.my son a month after stopping birth control, I was 31 at the time. I’m 35 now and stopped birth control back in October, and it just feels like it will never happen. 😪

Hi! I had an ectopic on my left tube last May. Was treated with methotrexate since it was detected early. My doctor told me to rest from ttc for around 6 months for my tube to heal. I was planning to have an hsg this month, but when I checked I’m actually preggy! Having my first scan on Monday. Praying little rainbow baby is in now in the right place.☺️

Me. I had a tubal reversal in October 2016 and had 3 ectopics all treated with methotrexate. I had an hsg and found that my right tube is blocked. I got pregnant the second cycle after my hsg. I’m currently 10 weeks today. There must have been some debris in my Fallopian tube that was cleared out by the hsg. I did it with one tube. Good luck to you!❤️

Yes! Ectopic for me was found March 2018. Took methotrexate and continued with IVF. Currently 9 weeks.

Stay positive. I had an ectopic in August 2018. Treated with methotrexate. After hcg dropped to 0 I took folic acid for 12 weeks. Got a bfp on first month trying. Just had my scan to check it’s in the right place. It is and has a heartbeat at 6 weeks 👍😊. I used opk to know exactly when I ovulate. They worked for us. Good luck x

I had ectopic in 2010 (right tube removed), in Oct 2017 got off pill and tried until March 2018. Ended up seeing a fertility specialist that said we only had a 5% chance of conceiving naturally with one tube. Happy to say we conceived after doing IVF Frozen embryo transfer.
