What age is it okay to let your kid wear makeup

I was never allowed to wear makeup, my family told me it was horrible for my face. So even now I don’t wear it. 
I see little girls in elementary and middle school with makeup on and it amazes me that parents let their kids do that. 
I think makeup makes kids look way too old. I’ve seen 14 years old that look 20 with the amount of makeup caked on their face.

I’d let my child put it on and wear it at whatever age within my house hold and at maybe 12/13 light make up outside the house and once hs hits I would let them explore in whatecer make up they want

I was allowed to in middle school but I rarely wore it. As an adult I probably put it on 2-3 times a year.

My oldest is 7 and is a dancer. She started wearing makeup for her recitals around 4/5. Started with a little lipstick and blush now it’s mascara, glitter...she obviously only wears it as part of her costume. She doesn’t wear any outside of dance. But she plays at home in it sometimes.  As far as doing her own and wearing it to school and other places, I think I’ll be okay when she’s around 14/15...we’ll see. I don’t really know how I’ll feel 5+ years from now though.🤷🏽‍♀️

I started be able to play with makeup at a young age. I’d play with my moms makeup and I had like shitty kids makeup that was not cute, but it was just meant for playing. At my 12th birthday party, some of my moms high school students came and gave me and all of my guests makeovers. I’ve loved makeup forever. And even when I first started dance and cheer at 3, there was always lipstick blush and bright red lips. That was just how it was, but it was for performances to stand out to the judges. That’s just how the dance and cheer world is. It’s not like we wanted to look like that in public lol. But I started being able to wear make up make up in high school. When I was in middle school my mom got me bare minerals and then at 14 and 15 I used shitty nutregena foundation and powder and really didn’t have a ton of good quality makeup until I was in college and could buy my own stuff.

I like the 15+ option. Little girls don’t need it! They have a naturally dewy complexion with rosy cheeks. Keep em innocent as long as you can.❤️

I was allowed at 13, because that's when I was officially a 'teenager' but it was limited to mascara and eyeshadow. My parents didn't allow much make up because they were more for supporting 'natural beauty' 
I'll probably allow it at 13 also, within reason. It seemed like a good age to start
