First ultrasound today. Dates were off and small sac no heartbeat

So we had first US today. I thought we were more like 8.5 weeks, measured at 6.5 with no heartbeat to be seen and a small sack. Thoughts? Trying to be optimistic here. Had a MC in November and can not handle more bad news.
