Sleeping longer than usual?

How long are 2 months olds supposed to stay asleep? Mine has been sleeping 3-4 hours naps recently which is not how long he usually sleeps. Hoping he's okay or if I should wake him to eat.

My baby is just a couple days short of being 2 months and he only takes short naps (30 to 40 minutes) at a time! I wish my little one was sleeping more like yours. I'd say if your baby is tired and wants to sleep, just let them sleep. I'm sure they will let you know when they are hungry! (Especially if their weight gain is good)

Mine also sleeps a lot, more than my other two did. I told my pediatrican and she said to wake baby up if their sleeping longer than 5 hour intervals. Mine will literally sleep for 8 hours straight 🤦🏻‍♀️
